Sometimes I hate being right

Well, last month was my birthday and two others from work as well. We were all skipped over for celebrating. I had blogged about it back then. I know I shouldn't be upset over something so trivial, but still it hurts.

Anyway, tomorrow is another girls birthday. She is one of the in crowd. Guess who's birthday they celebrated today! Yep! Thats right. They came around asking for money to get her a cake. I refused. I am sorry, but if you aren't going to do it for everyone, then you shouldn't do it for anyone.

Last month I had even said to a few coworkers that I bet they would celebrate VG's birthday. I should have bet money. I would have won.

Oh well! I don't have to go back to work until Monday. I am not going to worry about it.

I can so relate to your blog posted today. I'm not working now but when I was I hated the clicks in the office. It reminded me of high school. At work I was skipped over for a lot of things, and it does hurt. For instance when the girls who were on the same lunch break as me would get ready to go out to eat they would pass right by my desk and ask everyone around me and just ignore me. I don't know to this day what I ever did to any of them.

Anyway, I'm older than you, but I think you and I have a lot in common just from reading a few of your posts. One thing, I have an underactive thyroid as well and have a hard time losing weight. It can really be discouraging and depressing. I see you have 3 fat chicks on your blog. How did you get that on there like that? That would be a neat way to keep up with your weight loss progress.

I hope we can be friends.

Hi Wakela. Thanks for your comment in one of my posts- Just a Personal Note. Yeah, I also did not like office parties that much. There was once a time that I was on a budget, and they just decided to buy a cake also for someone not even close to me.

@Betty- Thanks for stopping by. Here is the info on how to put the weight tracker up.

First you need to go to http://www.3fatchicks.com/weight-tracker/ and choose the graphics and such. Once you get the final code, you go to your blogger dashboard. Go to template and then page elements. This won't fit in the side bar. So you can either choose the top or bottom. Click on add element. Choose the Html/java option. Paste in your code. Once you save it, you will want to drag it to either the top or bottom. Each time you weigh in, you can either go through the entire process again to get new code. Or do what I do. I edit the code myself. You will be able to see where the weight goes once you look at it.

@gellianne - Maráming salámat. I am glad you stopped by again.

I know what you mean about being broke and them asking for money. It seems there is always a birthday or something going on at the office. I don't think they are going to ask me for money anymore though. Not after the other day. At least, I wouldn't think so.
