Book Review

 

I first fell in love with the character Phineas Gunn aka Hugh Curzon in A Dangerous Liaison.  I was so happy to hear that Jillian Stone had decided to give him his own book in her series The Gentlemen of Scotland Yard.

Jillian Stone definitely knows how to build up suspense.  Every turn in the book, you didn’t know who to trust.  There were moments when the suspense was broken up with something hysterical happening to the characters.  Thankfully, it was done at just the right times. 

Even after reading A Danger Liaison with Detective Lewis, I still was not able to predict what would happen in this book.  The author really knows how to keep you guessing until the very end.

I can’t wait to see what she comes up with next.
