Review - Accidental Cowgirl

Accidental Cowgirl

Disclaimer:  I received this book free from Pocket Books in exchange for an honest review.  I did not receive any form of compensation.

Have you ever had one of those books where you don't want it to end?  You don't want to put it down for even a quick break?  Well, this was one of those books!  In fact, I had read this book way ahead of when I was planning on reading it.  Here it is, back in August and I read the book in one night.  However, since this book is being published on October 8th (my birthday), I held off on publishing this post.  I am just writing it ahead of schedule because I am so excited to share my views.

Kyla had a very rough time of her life in the past year.  She was nearly killed in a car accident that left her in a coma.  When she finally came out of the coma, she found her life in shambles.  After her therapy got her to the point of being able to walk around semi-normally, her two best friends decide she needed some time away and took her to stay at a ranch in Montana.  However, things definitely were a lot bumpier for her while on vacation.

One thing that I really wished was that the author, Maggie McGinnis, would have brought forth Roscoe more.  You know how there are some background characters that just stand out in your mind?  Well, he was definitely one of them for me.  He wasn't featured highly in this book, but he did play a few integral roles.  I hope that he will be featured in the other stories that will follow in this series.

Now the hard part, waiting for the rest of the series to come out!!!  I miss my "friends" already.
