Review - Magical Fashionista

Disclaimer: I received this book free from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. I did not receive any form of compensation.

When I was in high school, I used to make an attempt at dressing fashionable.  And in the 80s, that is pretty bad.  Since I graduated, I have rarely made an attempt to dress in anything other then jeans and t-shirts.  I never really put too much thought into what my clothes meant other then comfort.

This book shows that everything you wear can have a magical intent behind it.  There is fashion advice based off of the Chinese astrological symbols.  There are even fashion rituals to perform.  Such as if you are wanting more money, you could do the Fancy Pants abundance ritual.

One thing that I thought was amusing was that under the Western astrological signs, it says that one of my things to wear is sandals.  I hate sandals.  Then again, I have this aversion to feet.  So I don’t like any shoes that show my feet off.  Which is weird since I don’t like wearing shoes or socks.  So yea, I am a study in contrasts.

There is even clothes and jewelry to wear for specific times on the Wheel of the Year.

This book covers all aspects of how to dress to draw the life that you want and to live up to your full magical potential.  I know that after reading this, I will be taking a closer look at my wardrobe and seeing how various items that I wear affect me.
