Isabel Gallegos is only a handshake away from living her dream life. Unfortunately, I have to give this book two thumbs down.  If I had more thumbs, then they would be down too.

First off, I really did not like the main characters.  Isabel just seemed like a self-centered bitch that didn’t care about anyone but herself.  Her ex-husband, Nick (who happens to be a recovering alcoholic) is doing his best to help her out, but she still treats him like crap.  She signs over custody of the kids without even getting to know them.

Secondly, the plot is just too damn repetitive.  It just seemed like the same things were happening over and over.  Even dialog seemed to be used multiple times. 

I barely choked my way through this book.  Will I be looking for another book by this author?  Ummmmm…. NO!
